    Ok...my last thread was closed

    Im gonna try again

The 306, windsor head, Ecam, cobra intake motor I was having built for my 90LX coupe was stolen and Im now left with an empty engine bay. What Im wondering is, with this blank canvass to start all over with, what would be an ideal motor combo to take its place. I want somethin tough, with decently docile street manners that turns into a BEAST when th go pedal is pushed. It needs to be able to pass emmissions and be driven daily if I so please. Should I keep building what I was or go a different route. I cant spend too aweful much money on this, but I want to do it right now that Im starting fresh. Thanks for any ideas!!!

stroker with AFR heads, AFM or custom cam, your choice intake and all the supporting mods. hah kinda broad but it would run pretty hard. or just something simple like you were doing originally (ditch the alphabet cam) and a blower or turbo.

Seems like alot of people on here dislike the FMS cams, what would be a good cam in place of the E or Fcam?

don't get me wrong, they are good cams, just out-dated. i had an e cam in my old coupe and it ran hard! like i said, look at the anderson ford motorsport cams (Anderson Ford Motorsport Home Page). they have a lot to choose from and they're application specific to help with picking one. i have the n-412 cam in my car and i LOVE it!

Custom cam, only way I personally would go. Also get the springs and such matched for the cam you go with.
