Well I yanked the 281k mile SOB and am about to get it back from the machine to put it back together. Here is what i'm placing on the assembly line:

-304 stock block
-DSS main support
-ARP rod and main bolts
-SRP dish pistons 4.020" w/ 8.8-8.9 compression roughly
-Speed pro plasma moly rings, standard tension
-Eagle SIR lightweight full-floating rods
-AFR 165cc emissions stud mount heads (61 cc combustion chamber)
-crane hardend pushrods
-Explorer/cobra intake
-Crane energizer 1.6 stud rockers
-Compcams FW XE270HR-14 .512/.512 270/276 114 LSA (35-351-8)
-Speed-pro True double roller timing set
-Federal Mogul rod and main bearings
-Romac SFI balancer
-Melling oil pump
-Rotating assembly balanced to 50oz imbalance

This engine is being prepped basically for a supercharger setup (6-10 pounds of boost roughly) along with your usual bolt-ons that must compliment it in the future when it goes on. I am shooting for efficiency and not overkill and am trying to set it up with very tamed street manners down low with intentions of maybe in the 400-450 fwhp range.

Overall what do you guys think? The only thing I am really holding out on is the camshaft which is about the only thing I am a little iffy on. It was the one reccomended to me by compcams, anyone know much about this one or think it will do a fairly good job (for what's it's worth I have 3.55 gears)? I'de like to get some overall suggestions and opinions overall before I start putting it together, so comments please?

Thanks for the input......
