Over the past three years my garage mate has really gotten into the powercoating thing. The only drawback is that we were limited to what we could do by what would fit into a standard household oven. Basicly if it's metal, can take the heat, and it fits in an oven it gets powdercoated. Well as of last night the size limitation is not near as much of an issue any more. Over the last year or so he scratch built a oven 6'w x 3'd x 3'h. The inital test was my my headers. I had them sand blasted and he coated them with Eastwood's High temp Powdercoat. It has held up well on his motorcycle header/x pipe that fit the the regular oven.

They look good. But I'm not sure how well they'll look after the get used.
Only time will tell. my buddys bike pipes don't look bad at all after a year of being on his bike. This stuff can't be any worse than any of the other "coatings in a can". But like I said only time will tell, and I'll let you know if this stuff is garbage or not.
