i got bored yesterday and it was REALLY nice out so i decided to take some pics. i didn't get to wash her though so she's kinda dusty. It wouldn't have mattered that much anyway. lol. oh and be nice...i know she needs some paint and body work, but she runs like a champ! and yes that IS black duct tape holding my rear bumper together. also, i put my HID kit on finally last night...WOW what a difference! i'll get some pics of them up later.
thanks guys. yeah im gonna try and spray it sometime over the winter, but im not doing it until i get new bumpers, skirts and a cobra spoiler. so probably not til next spring or summer to be more realistic. i'm poor.
Hey, they way I figure....you got nothing but time!!! My Motto: "I am never selling my car, so all the bugs and blems will be worked out over the years. What fun would it be if I couldn't do anything more to my car anymore?"
Nice... the paint may not be perfect all over but I bet with a good buffing out most of it would look good. At least that's my philosophy with my car. Get the good panels as shiny as possible so as to distract from the areas with nicks and dings. Let's see a review of the HIDs... I've seen some kits out there for under $250, I'm thinking that would be a good pre-winter mod to do if those kits are any good...
yeah, that's the way i see it with my car too, i'm never going to sell it, too much sentimental value, i'm just really impatient. lol i've buffed it out before, makes it look waayyy better, but still not an improvement enough for me to want to buff it again or wax it regularly. i don't think my front and rear bumpers are even painted! i think my rear is a cervini's cobra too. the HID's are really nice. VERY bright. i need to aim them though. only thing i didn't like about them was the amount of extra wiring that i had to hide. seriously, it was like, the bulb with two 6" wires with connectors on the ends connecting to another set of 6" wires (i don't know why), connecting to some black box thing going into the ballast and 2 big wires coming out of the ballast, one plugs into my existing headlight harness, the other i don't remember. stretched out, each assembly was like 3 to 4 feet long. i got the 5000k kit off ebay for like 150 with a 30 shipping, iirc. might have even been cheaper. i got a kit with really small ballasts so i could hide them easier. i'll get some pics tonight.
