Does anybody else have noisy valve train with e303 cam, FMS 1.7 cobra rocker(pedestal mount) and edelbrock 5.0/2.02 aluminium heads#60399?
All but two of the rockers adjusted up properly, 0 lash plus 3/4 turn to proper torque, the other two only got about 1/3 turn to torque, but it sounds like more than just two out of adjustment
I just ordered a set of AFR 185's and pro magnum rockers but the heads are 4-6 weeks away, and the noise is embarrassing.
Has anyone else had this? Any quick fixes, till my new gear gets here?
BTW The engine has 10,000 miles on it and the noise has been with me since built, but it is getting louder, and its only there when the engine is up to temp.
