    Hey guys:

    After :lurk:

I've finally decided to get a Fox. After owning BMWs, Mopars and GMs, I'm looking to get my first Ford :)

I lost my beloved GTO two days before XMAS 08 and I need some more V8 power.

I'm very fond of the Foxbody Notchbacks, but I have noticed they command a premium over Hatches . . . even the ratted out ones :shrug:

Anyway, I found a few Notches in my price range ($3500), that aren't beat to hell or need a lot of elbow grease to make a nice highway cruiser. So hopefully one of those will come through!!

    Couple of questions

--Why is it such a hassle to get the VIN? I guess they don't want me to buy it :rlaugh:
--Is 4cyl to 5.0 conversion car that undesirable? Seen a ton of ads that say it not a conversion
-- Is the FoxBody moving up the appreciation curve? $5K for a rat box that needs exterior, interior, and motor work
-- No bodykits for a notch??

Anyway . . . I've found a few in Central Florida. If anyone wanna make a quick $50 to verify (test drive and check) the car's condition for me, PM me.

    Thanks!!

I live in VA and was looking to buy a fox body a few weeks ago. I used racingjunk.com to find mine. It's a 92 notchback. There are several decent notches on there that are semi local to you. I ended up driving down to lumberton NC next to Holcomb Motorsports to buy mine.

Just take your time and do a little more research and you should find one that's closer to you than florida.
