Just a quick post. My dad picked up a 70 351 vert yesterday. It is completely original 55k miles. The paint is looking a little rough and it has some very mild rust starting on the quarters. It is black with a white top and a red interior.

Thats a nice find and is a good looking car. I'm not sure about the red interior though. It looks to be in really good shape.

We weren't too sure about the red interior either. But, since it is the original color combination we will keep it. The car is amazingly complete and untouched. Doesn't appear that any panels were ever taken off. It has the original trunk mat and even the rubber covers on the tail lamp studs.

We plan to have it repainted and replace the wheels with Magnums or something else period correct.

You don't see too many (especially 69-70) that are in that good of shape that are survivor cars. Magnums would look great on it. I have them on my 65.
