I got my OEM splash guards from Fred Martin Ford (Youngstown, OH) through eBay this week ($46.76 with shipping). And I must say that they make the Mustang look more aggressive. Plus, they save me a lot of time by keeping dirt and asphalt off the rear bumpers.
Those look great man! Nice clean install and now you can do smoky burn outs without worrying about your paint
Keep it clean, people. The last thing we need here is another flame war. EDIT: Thank God for Ignore Lists.
I think they look good. More importantly, you think they look good. I find that black accessories look really nice on a windevil blue Stang.
I couldn't have said it any better. That's why later this year, I'll be adding black tail light bezels, a Fang Performance chin spoiler and possibly a trunk blackout panel.
This is the rear blackout panel I chose. Deleted the fake gascap because I put on a black brushed aluminum gas cap, and didn't want it to look like I had two.
That looks clean. I don't think I'll ever give up my fake gas cap ornament, though. I'll probably just have mine painted black or I'll order the magnetic blackout panel. Well, I picked the right time to install those splash guards. It's been raining pretty hard here in L.A.
I had splash guards put on my redfire 05 (Black) and they look good. Ordered from Ford...I live at the coast for GOD's sake....it's been raining for months now. Sure makes wash time easier.
I don't think they look any worse than trailer hitches Come on now, I'm sure a few of y'all that like mudflaps on Stangs,( normally I don't, but these look OK, and unobtrusive) were ( I'm sure) on the negative side of the trailer hitch issue.
if you were really concerned about keeping it clean you should have put them on the front. although that might have made the car look too aggressive...
