my point was that 3/4 of the car gets dirty from the front tire kick off, not the rear, so the fact that he's trying to avoid washing is mute.

    disapoint :notnice:

    disappoint :nice:

Now now, I think he just means one less area TO clean. When I first ordered they showed front and rear splash guards for the 05. I ended up with only the rear. If you saw my daily driver and what the weather has done to those areas, you'd understand WHY I put them on my Stang. I have 3M paint protection on all vunerable areas of my Stang too so it doesn't end up like my daily driver. Oh by the way it was after I ordered front and rear splash guards for mine they told me they did not make them for the front.:D Hmm my Stang kicks off from the rear wheels.

I dont think I would put them on. I dont think they would look right on a lowered stang

    OEM suk

I got my OEM splash guards today and I was very dissapointed in them. :notnice: They are not very big, a matter of fact they are not even as wide as my stock tires by an inch less. :( :bs:

Does anybody know of any NON oem guards that are wider?

EDIT: I just looked back at A7's pictures and they look nice and are nothing like the crap they sold me. I will be returning them to Ford. Wish me luck!

YIP I got screwed by the Tallahassee Ford parts department. No returns on specialty orders.

Sounds like you got the flat splash guards instead of the molded ones.
BTW, the GT molded splash guards don't have anything on them. No pony or the word MUSTANG.

So yea turns out those guys really wanted to screw me. When I asked them how much the for the molded ones he qouted me 65 so I went to a different dealer and low n behold they were only 43.
They obviously don't care about there customers or there quality of service. They probably figure I'm just a dumb 18 year old kid who they can stiff for the money' but what they don't know is I may look 18 but I'm 43 and they in turn actually bought them for me thru my sale of ford stock a couple of yrs ago. :)
I gave those crappy flat ones to somebody else.
If you go back to the first page and look at A7's flaps they do have the word MUSTANG on them.

Very nice. Not sure if I consider this a mod but have plans on ordering a pair for my 2005 GT when it arrives this week.

Actually they are not made buy Ford. I thought they were too but according to them it is not thats why it takes 7-10 days to get them instead of 3 days.
