Well today at work we put my car in the air with the wheels off and my pads are shoot and i have heat cracks like crazy..Whats some good rotors to go with and pads..I dont have a crazy amount to spend on my brakes..I was thinking decla rotors for the front and oe rotors for the back..
Comes with caliper, pad, SS brake hose, bonjo bolt, and disk. here is what you'll get http://www.performancepartsinc.com/suspension.htm Its located halfway down on the page. u have choice of Cobra, Bullitt, Cobra 10th Anny, or Mach1 caliper for 399
http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/index.php?eshox_session=cca42fadf1d608f974aca84ad54180bc&cPath=6 Take your pick between Mach/Bullitt, 10th anniversary cobra, and Cobra
$329 for Mach1 caliper! thats cheapest i've seen so far. Do thjey charge you like $100 for s/h? LOL i just noticed that
My home in Detroit is like 5-10 minutes away from this vendor, so no shipping needed for me. They'll only get me on Michigan's 6% sales tax. I'll just see which option comes out cheaper. I'll have them ship it to me in Ohio if shipping is cheaper than tax. I think I may purchase this weekend or next. BTW, You can get the unpainted Mach caliper kit for $309.
Holy crap! $360 for Bullitt brakes! http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=593
ya man they look nice, but just because they look nice, i can't justify spending that much on just disk. I guess if you do track running, it may not be bad investiment But since allmost all my braking is done under light load..
While we are talking about it, if I were to get these Bullitt brakes for the front.... could you recommend a good brake pad that has minimal brake dust? Trying not to clean the wheels every other day.
