I have the FRPP suspension, after install I noticed a slight thump in r/r only on certain bumps mostly when making right turns. I checked over everything and its all tight....I'm stumped myself. :bang:

 I've been putting off any suspension mods due to peoples complaints with just about every kit out there:( I take it(your sig)you still have factory parts. Mine pops someplace, but I have to hit a bump/hole pretty darn hard to notice it. When I do, I can't pinpoint the location.
I'd say get louder exhaust to cover it, but looks like you already have that:D

    Thump - Thunk

There's a fix for your problem. I've already had it done and so have numerous others on another forum. The new part was just released in July. Now there's finally a TSB for it. You need new upper strut mounts. Part # 8R3Z-18183-B.
    TSB 07-18-02.

Sounds like a bad strut to me...That's exactly what one typically sounds like. A dull, thumping noise over every single road imperfection.

    OEM Part

Yes it is. All you guys with the front end thunk can get the upper strut mounts replaced for free, all under warranry. Trust me, this fixes the thunk. There's a 96 page thread on another forum and so far, everyone who has had their upper mounts replaced has reported back that their thunk is gone. Get 'er done!

Yes its the strut mounts I got mine replaced under warranty but now its doing it again on the right side but I notice when I go over a speed bump the right strut squeeks so now iam thinking its a bad strut this time.

I got my strut mounts replaced cause when I turned right or left it poped or clunked thats no.1 sign

I put the FR500 Strut Mounts on my clunky car and sure enough these do it too. The design between the stock ones and the FR500's mentioned in the TSB is identical. The only difference is the FR500 are shorter (which makes it 28% stiffer) and the 4 top bolts are longer. I still have a clunky right front noise over every bump. It's driving me nuts. J&M and Steeda have aluminum ones that eliminate the Ford's poorly design. However they are $279-$299. I might be going this route as I can't take it anymore. Don't spend the money on the FR500's. The noise will come back in time.
