Well... i think after 190k miles, my 1998 GT died. Albeit it is my fault because im sure if i hadnt pushed it really hard when the engine didnt have oil left in it, and then running 4 months on a knocking connecting rod.... anyway monday while at work it seized on me 1 min after it started doing a weird clacking at the low rpm. so bleh!
Same night went to see a 2003 GT, and it's in my parking lot now =) im just a bit sad that i didnt wait to see it during the day, there's 2 little thing about it that annoys me. the driver seats on the side there's quite a bit of wear on the leather, probably due to the seat belt, and the housing for the hand break is all torn apart. that i can prolly get at a scrappy for pretty cheap. Also i believe the bezel didnt come factory silver but thats ok it kinda looks good, maybe if i put billet knob for ac and the 3 button at the button would make it more nice.
The car as 60k miles so less then 1/3 what the other had. And i dealed a 2 years warranty in the deal, car has all its history at ford previous owner did it all there.
At the same time would anyone know on the mach 460 (6 cd changer not the mp3) there's a mute/hang up button. I highly doubt those car where equipt with bluetooth back then, but is there any kind of hookup for phones or?
now, lets see what everyone opinion on what i do with the dead car.
a) keep for parts
b) fix it myself and sell it
c) take it apart and sell the parts
d) sell it as is.... probably a big waste
e) fix it and use as a winter beater
was a VGA car i bought 5 years ago that i had repaired the body myself so the paint is meh.
ok enough, sorry for the long post
