I'm getting ready to buy new springs for my car and am debating on which ones I want. I've got it narrowed down to the Ford racing springs and Steeda ultralites. My car is my dd and will probably see the strip maybe a few times a year. I'll be sticking with the factory shocks and struts for the time being. What do you guys think? Pics of cars using these springs would help as well. Thanks.

my buddy has the FRPP springs. the look is perfect on the stock rubber, IMO. it rides smooth with the stock struts/shocks too. :)
  3. DarkFireGT Playing with my wife's really makes me want one.

The FRPP springs are made by Eibach, and very similar to the Pro Kit, in terms of spring rate and drop height. If you plan on drag racing, the Pro Kit/FRPP springs will be better, due to the spring rate. The Ultralites look nice, but they're not quite as good for launching, and obviously make road obstacles harder to overcome.

I have the eibach pros and they are awesome. just make sure that you change upper strut mounts to either gt 500s or aftermarket cause I put changing them off and all the driverside one does is pop.

Thanks for the help guys. I went ahead and ordered the Ford racing springs. Should be fun, I get home from Iraq next month and besides these springs I will have a bullit grill, GT500 spoiler and a shorty anteana waiting for me. I'm sure I'll buy a few more things as well, just not sure what yet! Rims gotta wait till after taxes since the wife need a new car.:notnice: Also I'm gonna wait on the shock mounts right now because it probably won't be long before I get new shocks anyway.

I have the StangSuspension Series II springs. Front drop is 1.75" and rear drop is 1.5" I've had two sets of tires/wheels on with no issues at all. I'm currently riding on the OEM 235/50-18 on fanblades. My other setup is 18x8.5 with 245/45 NT555 and18x10 with 295/45 NT555.

You car looks great man but that is a little more rake than what I am looking for. What darkfire and bigcat said pretty much sold me on the Ford racing springs, I think I'll be happy with those. Like I said, after the winter I'll be getting some new wheels and don't want the car to look "off" until then and I think the frpp springs will give it the right look. Thanks guys.
