this is like the 5th post of someone doing this but oh well. just painted and striped a set of tail lights. came out good i think. oh and mansonozz where exactly do i clip that stripe at? right where it hits the huge reflector on the side or at the little square in the reflector and does it start up again on the other side? i don't want to clip it until i know exactly where i need to.

not for a while seeing as i'm not driving her right now. the motor is going out so i'm in the process of finding/rebuilding/installing a new one in her. i'll hopefully have her back up by spring with a fresh motor and transmission and hopefully all new cobra body parts and paint.

You see that little square on the side reflector on the bottom?? That's where you snip the line. You snip only the center line where it just starts into the square and as soon as it exits.

Ford only did this so not to conceal that reflector. Honestly, i don't think it looks good like that so i left mine as is.

NOBODY is gonna know....well except maybe 2-4 guys on SN :D

i LOVE them man...wouldn't use any other muffler. no drone and sounds WICKED at wot. i just have the stock headers and a 2.5" o/r H i had the local exhaust guy build for me. i'm in the process of putting a new motor in the car at which time i'll probably get a set of longtubes with a matching H....man i can't wait to hear her then!

hmm...if that's the way it's supposed to be then i did it way wrong! i cut it as soon as it hit the entire reflector and never started it back up. hah. oh well i'm gonna re-lay them anyways. here's that link again:
