Called two dealerships today to see if they had a pcv valve in stock. I was going to replace it just for preventative maintance. He tells me that it is only serviced with the valve cover. Yeah right like I'm going to purchase a new valve cover just to get a new pcv valve. Which makes no sense to me. Has anyone replaced their pcv yet? Ford was saying that the PCV is located on the driver's side valve cover. Other on this forums claim that it is on the passenger side valve cover. What is the deal?

No one has has replaced theirs yet? Every dealership I called says that you must also buy the valve cover. Currently you can't buy the PCV valve separate. That makes no sense at all, I even called Ford and they had no idea. They said that the dealership is the one to talk too. The parts guys couldn't believe it either. I wonder why Ford would do something like that.

It's on the passenger side and I don't know where you can get one.

It is built into the cam/valve covers. Take them off and see for yourself.
