Practicing launches

Well I decided to take my car out with a buddy and practice some launching. I have never done so before really, I left the tires at full air pressure for this time and on the Outside of the car I had it at 4k and slipped the clutch a bit. In car was also 4k but dumping. My tires are et street radials 275/50's which hook up hard if Iam doing say literally a 5 mph roll on but will spin all of 2nd and about 15 ft in 3rd. The tires were hot for these, on the outside car video I did a small burnout before the taping started and on the in car I just cleaned the tires off quick. I will be taking it to the track at some point but would like to have some sort of a idea on how to launch the car before I go(2 1/2 hours one way). This is my first vechile with any sort of power, Iam 18 so I have lots of time to practice but if you guys have any tips, on launching shifting etc it would be great.

This is tech but It is relivent, If you notice my cars fuel pressure goes up to almost 80 at WOT about 5k. For my mods, powerdyne 6 psi, edelbrock intake, 30lb injectors, full exhaust etc shouldnt it be more around 60 psi at WOT? I have a regulator I can adjust to bring it down. Sorry mods if you decide to move this.
