I recently tossed my belt and managed to tear the seal where the input shaft enters the body. called procharger and after a while on the phone, I was told that the only way to do it was to send it in and have them fix it. This idea didn't appeal to me since they couldn't tell me how much it would cost except to guarentee that it would cost at least $145 for shipping and the base charge to inspect the unit. My other option was to buy the seal for 7 bucks and rebuilt it myself.

It took about 20 minutes to disassemble it and about 2 and a half hours to go back together and got it back on the car yesterday and took it for a test drive. seemed to work fine, still the 10 in. of vacuum during normal driving, and acceleration feels the same but the unit seems to be a little louder than it was before?

Anybody rebuilt their supercharger or experienced something similar?
I think I'm just being paranoid, but I can't help it...haha
