Put the UD crank pulley on and it doesn't fit snug on the ATI damp

Well waiting on parts I decided to go ahead and put on my crank pulley and my water pump pulley. I have BBK UD pulleys and when I went to put the BBK pulley on I looked to see which side went so I made sure I didn't put it on backwards. I saw the + mark where the 4 bolts go so I knew this side mounted to the balancer. However when I went to put it on it didn't seat on the ATI balancer. I found this odd because I figured it definately should. I grabbed the stock pulley and fit it and it goes on flush and seats fine. I found this odd but decided to take out the bolts and put on the UD pulley to see what happens. When you put in all 4 bolts you can still move around the pulley very little. This cant be right because if you don't bolt it down perfectly you will be sure to get a bad vibration. SO, what do you guys think the problem is? I would like to run the UD crank pulley to get as much power as possible out of the combo.
