Hello everyone. I recently bought an '08 GT from a dealer. It has a Ford Racing intake and from what I've learned, this intake requires a tune. I don't believe the vehicle has a tune on it. I have been getting horrible gas mileage, and also knocking at very low and very high rpm. I'm assuming that this is because the computer isn't adjusted for the intake. If anyone can give me any information here it would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I just realized that this should have been posted in the 2005-2009 Specific Tech subforum. I have posted there as well.

Yes, that sounds like a tune would fix your issue. However, a tune will help you tremendously even if it happens not to be the issue

Thanks for your response. Would you recommend a specific tune?

I have always heard good things about BAMA tunes through American Muscle, I am a college student so I don't have the funds for much modification for now haha
