So I need advice. My filler neck gasket on the other end of the tank is leaking. Its where the neck goes through the car where you put gas in.
When I'm filling it and it fills up and the pump shuts off I get some fuel that comes between the plastic and the metal surround that you put fuel in. It fills up the bottom of the cavity then a little comes out of the drain.
Called ford they said the gasket is part of the filler neck itself and discontinued.
Pull it apart and use black rtv?
