Removing Heater Pipe?

I have an 302 H.O. and I was wondering how I remove this pipe off of the lower intake manifold. Do I need to take the brass nut under it off or can I just remove it by taking the black end off because I can;t seem to get this thing off.

the part that threads into the intake has to be unscrewed and there is a bolt holding down that small bracket towards the back of the pipe that has to be removed... then remove your heater core hoses and it should come right out...
