Removing rear seat backs

Stupid question, but my Haynes manual doesn't show crap and a search didn't provide any good info.

I got the bottom cushion out by pushing back on the two tabs.

Now for the seat backs...I took out the two 10mm bolts on either side of the bottom, but then I was told to just lift up and out??? The whole thing is still attached to the frame of the back. Do I have to take more bolts out?

I do believe there are two on the top as well..I just had mine apart and had black trim piece above seat off when I took it out, but I'm pretty sure there are two bolts up high tooo...

nope, take out those 2 bolts and pull the seat down and it should come out. no bolts on top, at least not on mine

I've yanked, pulled, pushed, twisted, everywhich way. It does not just "come out".

Does anybody know what I've running into? Pics???

I'm not sure if it is different between coupes and convertibles, but in my car, once you take out the lower part, you take out the two bolts on each side and pull/push straight up. If you look behind the back seat, you should see two tabs that hook the seat in place. Removing the back part of the seat is the same type of process that taking off the door panel is.

i just completely removed my rear seats, i think it was about 6 bolts i removed up top, definitely more than 2 in any event

Same here. There were about three bolts on top. You might see them better if you get the headrest outta the way.
