Hey forum,

Thanks for the huge help in determining why I had two inches of water on the passenger side floor this week. For those who have yet to experience this event, assure you clean out your drainage ports every month or so, especially in the winter! Mine were full of leaves and other debris which caused at least two gallons of rain water to pour through my air vents into my car. Thankfully I found out the following day around noon and was able to begin the drying process immediately! One strange incident though; when I ripped up the carpet there were hundreds of popcorn kernels underneath it! What are these guys doing in the factory munching on kernels?

I've replaced the cabin filter, which was soaked, and will put the carpet back in place soon. Sprayed heavily with Lysol to prevent mold and mildew growth.
