saleen ID plate that goes in the car

    Can someone post up a pic of exectly where this mounts for the 99-04 cars. I recently got mine in the mail from saleen. I know it mounts rght under the traction control and defrost buttons, just want to get it right. Also, can someone post up a pic of how the front bumper numbers mount as well. Thanks for your time and help.

    He means IN THE CAR, not on the firewall. Not all cars have the interior plaque.

    The only reasons why a car would not have a console plaque would be if an employee forgot it,stole it or it was taken off the car at the dealership.

    I have seen cars at the dealer with the decal adhesive on the shifter bezel and I have bought a car new from the showroom and it was obvious that the console never had one. It's Saleens intent for every car to have an engine bay plaque and consloe plaque.

    How Exactly did you get the ID plaque? I'm missing the plaque that goes in the center console and I would like to replace it. Let me know?

    I called liz saleen, left her a message with my info and what i was looking for. She called me back and had it sent out. I got it within 2 weeks of the call. This was going back a while(like over a year) though so I dont know if its still that easy or not. Ive just had it sitting cuz I didnt know exactly where it mounted, but now I've put it on. Thanks for that pic of the bumper number too

    Dash Plaques are special order. You can call The Saleen Store with your bumper # and VIN to order one. Or you can email me and I will take care of you. Liz retired from Saleen last year. Now Pati Reard is head of 'Team Saleen'.

    They do forget to install them though... I'm proof positive of that even on the new models.

    Yeah I got mine last time I was at Saleen HQ with my car.

    And yes I live. Had a hell of a month last month at work and then took a 1 week vacation.
