I was watching this thing on the news the other night about how people keep stealing converters to recycle them because platinum is worth so much right now. I was thinking that I have the two I took off my 02 when i got an o/r x pipe as well as the original stainless tubing and mufflers. Anyone have any clue what this stuff is worth in scrap since it's just sitting in the garage collecting dust?

most aftermarket highflow cats are made with palladium instead of platinum... sadly the thieves don't know the difference.
The stock cats were going for around 200+ per cat on ebay for a while, but that's died down a bit.

Depends onthe type of cat. Someone once posted a price-list for typical cats.
