SctTuner "Two Step"

Do you think it would hurt anything to set the neutral rev limit to like 4500 rpm for a "launch control" effect? I have an sct tuner and seen this was an option on it and ive seen videos of people doingin it to their 5.0's.... It would make since that it shouldnt hurt anything if you set it low enough. I was just curious if anyone had any experience with this.

If you don't want to hurt anything just don't rev it beyond 4500, :D
Seriously, Never had a rev limiter on a Mustang but I've driven a couple cars with one and you can launch great off the line (provided it's setup right). Depends on what you want to achieve.... Do you want to improve on 60' time at the local strip or do you want it to sound cool doing a burnout behind the Pizza joint?

If I remember right from when I had my sct...that was the point of that option....as long as the car measures 0 speed then it has one rev limiter after it reads anything above that it changes to a different rev limiter.
