We came to an agreement, and I said my goodbyes on Friday. :( She was a good car, and she treated me right. I will truly miss her. Insurance has bought it, and salvage would be too much for me to make any money on any of the parts, so off she goes.

http://www.justagt2.com/sundance for the rest of the picts.

I'm scheduled to fly out to AL to pick up a 2002 Millenium Yellow Z06 on the 16th. Can't wait.

And don't worry, my heart is still in Mustang-land...I just had to have a Z06. They are the ultimate car.

I'll explain my decision later, for now I've got to get back to work.

Great buy! If you had to exit the mustang game....at least it was an upward movement. I cringe when I see those pictures too....but its also cuz your car is cleaner totalled than mine is on a daily basis. Those pipes are still shining!

Well, we all must compromise at some time in our lives =)

    The Z06... There's a beast of a car.

    Congrats!

Sorry to hear that you had to let your car go man! :(

I was at a stop sign getting ready to exit my neighborhood to the left. A truck was coming on my left slowing down to turn with their blinker on. So I looked right (clear) and started to pull out. I looked left and saw the grill 2 feet from my door closing in. I said shi.........and don't remember anything after that. She decided at the last minute not to turn and floored it. She didn't even see me. She was 20 and had two 21 year old males with her. They were hung over from the night before. It knocked me out for 5 minutes, and the truly sad part is my folks were 2 cars back and we were going to lunch for Mother's Day. Mom is still having issues with it. No broken bones, no spinal or cranial damage. Just a sprained back, and pulled abdominal and neck muscles. Not to mention lacerations on my elbow and foot from the window and racing pedals.

I'm still in mild pain and am taking loads of Advil. Still don't have full motion in my neck.

Yup, everything is like it was. But since salvage is going to be over 6k, it's not worth buying it back to sell everything from it. The insurance adjuster wanted me to buy it back but I told him I can't lift anything so they would have to pay to have everything swapped over. Which they wouldn't do.

how does the ins. work with a heavily modded car? i wonder this as i have expensive mods and will be getting a blower as well. did you get screwed on all the money spent on mods? i assume so.

just wondering if you were able to work somthing out. ive been thinking of picking up some extra ins. just for mods.

anyway, glad your ok and zo6 is one of the few cars i would CONSIDER giving up the stang for. the other is an m3.

Glad to see you are ok, and have settled with your insurance company. Recovering takes time and effort, I went through an injury where they said I will only recover 70%, here I am now functionin 100% :)

Congradulations on the new car purchase.
