I'll be pulling that off one of these days, does anyone know a plastic plug or what not to plug the hole. I'll get if filled and repainted later on!
Thanks

i had the same problem when i removed my spoiler; thought about it for a while and finally decided to use plastic push fasteners with a washer on the underside to hold it. don't have a picture of one, but it has a very thin, flat, round head and a lot of little fins on the shaft. if you get one the right size (they have them at most hardware stores) and get a washer the right size, you can just put the washer on the underside and push the fastener down into from the top and it will hold it. i painted mine with some touch up paint to match the car before i put it in and put a little silicone under it to seal it. it's not as good as having the hole filled and the trunk repainted, but short of that, it's not bad. There must be a flat plug that autobody guys use to plug the holes left behind from Cop cars and the antenna at are punched through the sheet metal all over?
Heres another idea 2005-2011 MUSTANG SATELLITE RADIO/GPS ANTENNA COVER
Hmmm... not sure if I'd want a little "shark fin" in the middle of my trunk...
Would that act like a "vortex generator" and change the effect of the rear spoiler?
I probably wouldn't put it on my car either, was just trying to give the OP some ideas.
As for the "vortex generator effect" it could change the dynamics 100% and cause you to spin out while making a turn at any speed over 35mph
I did that mod. and I could wheelie in all 6 gears!
