Can someone take a pic from INSIDE the car for me? Basically I want to see how much of the hood you see while driving.

mines a 3.5" rise, but what the hell...its really not that bad to get used to at all, and well worth the awesome look it gives to the car:nice:

A buddy of mine has a 4" on his 92, that thing is huge and when I drove it, it did bother me, but he's used to it and it looks AWESOME. So in the end, it's worth it.

Slp, and bassani o/r x on the 02. It is fairly loud lol. Not saying it won't look good but you get tired of the whats that thing got under the hood comments. Look over in the 4.6 section at pughman. He has a 4 inch cowl on his 98.

Here was the view from inside mine. I liked the hood and I only had a problem when I was turning right on a hill. I will say after I swaped back to the stocker I liked it better driving wise though. I love cowl hoods as much as anyone but now with me unless I need it I won't run one.

You wouldn't run one at all? How about a 2 1/2 ". That's what I have and it can hardly be seen from the inside, but still gives it an aggressive look from outside.

Not really unless I had to. I guess its where I have got older and I like the look of a stock car. I drool when I see a stock looking fox thats well kept. Not saying cowl hoods look bad either. I like them but for me a stock hood unless I need it.

    I like that actually.

What did you do with the hood when you took it off?

i had the cobra R hood, and i think that was enough for me. 4" seems a tad too big. its also illegal in VA for a street car to have it more than 3. And plus, no sense in dressing for the 10s when your stuck in the 14s

Thats was the hood on my 02. Gives you an idea of what it looks like. Its sitting in the garage right next to the cars.

    Same here
I got tired of going to the track and running times like that with a huge hood. It looked good(atleast to me) but I felt like I was giving an impression that I wasn't.

I dont mind people asking what I have under the hood when I haved that and its pretty much stock. Since its my daily driver and Im still in school, Im doing a few performance things for now and Im gonna try to get it lookig how I want it so its reliable till I can get another car.
