ok, so how does this sound to yall.. i know a guy that will sell me a PI intake and proflows with dumps for $65. i am going to pay and pick em up tomorrow!! then hopfully this weekend, i have a few fun projects. 1. (father wants) i finaly got my high flow cats to put on 2. change out my flowmasters (or i can do that tomorrow) 3. PI intake 4. PI cam swap!!! this makes me happy... i will finaly have some power!! hahaha ohh also what do proflows sound like? i know they are chambered, but i havn't found a vid with them matched with o/r x, or even catted x. and how loud?? louder than flows??
Sounds like a good deal. You need some odds and ends if I remember for the PI swap to be complete, but thats a killer price for mufflers and a PI intake as long as they are in good shape. Not sure if ive heard those mufflers before though.
i know i will need an alternator bracket, but what else?? i have heard if i get some spacers or something kinda like that it will be better, but i just don't have the money... ohh i will talk to him about the bracket, but i think he may be using it. i know right now he is in the process of converting his 02 into a 4v...
Interesting that this thread comes after you asking how fast your friend's SS is Sounds good, you'll need a new coolant crossover and nipple to go over the intake instead of under like the stocker. Also the intake manifold gasket and lots of RTV
well, i was looking around town for a pi intake, and i remebered that i have a friend that goes through and rebuilds mustangs, and sells em. like he found a wrecked billet fixed it and sold it for more than he spent. (got lucky) but i knew he would have some parts so i asked him, and sure enough he did. got lucky.. he siad 65 for the intake and proflows by friday, after that 100 for them all..
Im not 100% sure but I think u mean Mac Flowpaths, & I beleive that they are louder than Flowmasters???
