Speedo Gear For 410 Ratio Aod

Can the driven gear on the end of the cable be changed to adjust for 410 gears without changing the drive gear in the trans? If so, what color or tooth count do I need? It an AOD.

Also need the cable housing to case retainer clip. I guess I'll have to visit the salvage yard for that.

Yes, we changed my rear to 410 w/t56 the trans has a 7 tooth drive gear, usually a 21 tooth cable works, in my case we've figured it needs a 23tooth. download a free gps speedo app to your phone and youll know if the new gear is correct. like a blower pully bigger gear slows speedo and smaller speeds it up.

Edit: careful on the color scenario, the market is flooded with cheap aftermarket gears that pay no attention to the tradional 'color' - tooth scheme.
