Speedo help needed
I can't find another thread that quite addresses this, so here goes. When I got the car last December I noticed that the speedo just kind of "floated" up to speed in the cold weather. I drove it once or twice on dry roads then put it up. When warm weather rolled around the speedo work fairly normally except for some occasional bounce. Later in the summer I changed gears. After breaking the gears in, of course I had to go out and beat on it so I could see how much of a difference the gears made. Shortly after that the speedo stopped working altogether, but the odometer and trip odo still work.
Suggestions? Obviously with the odometers still working the cable and gear are still fine.
