spring and gas tank question

my 84 gt is in need of new springs and shocks i have the stock springs from my 03 gt sitting in the garage will they fit on my 84? also my car has a dent in the gas tank so it wont read right at the local pull a part there is a 88 4cyl with a gas tank that isnt dented will it fit or will there be any troubles w/the in tank pump?

yes u can use that tank u will just have to switch out all ur fuel equipment stuff from ur 84 tank to the 88 tank./

the EFI car has a hole in the center for the fuel level gauge sender. i guess just leave it there to fill the hole, but replace the o-ring so it doesnt leak.

the 03 gt springs SHOULD fit your 84 but they sure wont lower it. they will either raise it a bit or not at all. but the ride might be stiffer since the 03 is a heavier car.
