turbo coupes are rediculous. i put the nose piece(with the tbird logo and what the headlights go in) from an '88 on ebay and it's already up to $102, doesnt end till saturday and that's just 2 people bidding on it while there are 12 people watching. it's crazy, the demand for 87-88 TC parts.
I picked it up cheap, and by cheap I mean $300. I'm going to make a race car out of it. it had a cracked head but I have a new one to put on her. it is an auto trans car and has no rust, mostly strait body and perfect intior(that is going in to my othr bird)
both of mine are complete cars luckly. I won't have to hunt hard to find parts to get them looking good.
My dad has an NOS TC side moulding for one of the doors, can't remember which. It'l be avaiable. Not sure how much yet.
You are making me feel much better about the two Turbo Coupes I have in the back yard. One actually drove on and off the trailer. As for ebay, I just sold a 39 Crosley chassis for $500 on there! Hated to see it go, been in the family since 64, but I just never got the urge to restore it.
lol, we got ours for $300 and it actually drove. the tranny grinds going into second and the driver-side axle is bent. other than that, the car runs like a dream and the motor is going into my mustang.
I was going to work on the new bird today. but when I woke up it was pooring down rain and has not stopped yet.
I see turbo coupes all over the place at houses when i go by and i leave notes but no one ever calls me back.
