easy for most people. Alt bolt needs an impact to make it easier. Take time and can be done in an hour. I haven't done in a driveway or garage, I have access to a shop with air tools and a lift so I may be wrong about the time. I still would call it an easy install.

Like he said it is easy with the right tools. You can take the alt to Advance to let them hit it with an impact wrench.

I have a 99 and my crank pulley bolt was very hard to get off. Needed a piece of steel pipe to extend the ratchet and lots of torque.

Put it in 5th gear...the crank will not turn when removing/installing crank pulley.
