This brace installs in the chassis area between the rear wheel wells behind the rear seats which effectively couples this part of the rear structure together to increase chassis rigidity.

The reduced deflection allows the rear suspension to be more effective at doing its job.

Manufactured in house from chrome moly alloy steel tubing and mild steel brackets. Powdercoated silver with a billet aluminum center cover plate for a great appearance. Bolt on or weld in installation.

Note: Requires removal or rear seats. Custom rear seat delete or Boss 302 delete panels recommended.

Product Benefits
  • 4130 Chrome Moly Design for Hardcore use also
  • Better handling for more stable cornering
  • Helps prevent and elimintate sqeaks and rattles

Sweet! There's already been some discussion about how it attaches on the bottom and what those skinny little brackets on the top actually do compared to:

Ah... that makes more sense.

Question: Why aren't the cross bar brackets for the top and bottoms tied together to share the fastener load? Is that (what looks like) 10/32 screw fastener going to hold up to body twisting on the road coarse?
There isn't enough chassis flex at the mounts to necessitate the added stiffness, cost, or weight. There are four 8mm screws at the top mounts and two 10mm screws at the lower mounts. Yes, the fasteners will hold up just fine during absolutely any kind of racing.

If someone that races is concerned, having these welded-in is an option.
