I gotta strip that sealer looking crap from my floorboard to mount the halo and doorbars of my rollcage.. whats the best way to strip that stuff? (im doing this during work hours, so im hoping it isnt that involved.) P.S. after i put the bar in, im thinking of coating everything with that Lizard Skin stuff... anyone ever use it?
Man, that sealant stuff sucks. It reminds me of the sealant they use in aircraft fuel tanks.. i scraped enough of that stuff to last a lifetime, so this is really frustrating. i only have a giant cutting torch here, so im gonna grab my propane toch when i get home... Thanks for the info though, i appreciate it. on a positive note, i got the rear plastic out, the rear seats ( i seriously doubt the seats will ever go back in) all the insulation and after i get this sealant off i can start mocking up the roll bar. this could prove to be quite the pain in the postierier.
Sounds like your doing what i'm doing... I think imma get a 10pt cage as soon as I can get a nice welder. I was going to go with a 12pt cage but I don't want to cut up my firewall.
Man, you must have some serious business under your hood.. im going to try and break in the 11's hopefully.... what the heck are you building ??
but.....but... i had to get peoples attention.. and.....and (sniff) if they thought it was about seam sealer, noone would have bothered looking Ill make it up to ya! And on another note... anyone that has put a cage in your car.. is it me, or does the dang thing not want to line up right... it seems like the back bars are too dang short.
