Strut Tower Brace

My strut tower brace had to come off because of the cobra intake. Which STBs have you guys used as a replacement?

Do any of them work with the existing holes or am I going to have to drill new ones?

Took mine off for intake as well.

Never put one back on.

Cobra does not even have one.

If I was gonna go roundy roundy, I might consider one.

Its been off for years now and since my 95 is a weekend toy only

The lack of a brace concerns me not very much at all.

Steeda makes em... They will use the same holes and bolts. I had to switch to Steeda when I went to my trick flow intake.

i daily drive mine without one. if you are going to get one its just a matter of picking a brand you want.

I use the polished BBK STB with a 95 Cobra intake (+ spacer between upper and lower). For me, it makes a huge difference (being a vert) in curvy roads.

Yeah i have a Vert so i have to get all the structural reinforcement i can.

Ford Racing Sells one for around $110-$120 from Summit. It works with Cobra and fabricated GT40 uppers. I put one on my cobra and it uses the stock mounts. I had to elongate one of the holes with a grinder, but that was the only trouble I had. I would also suggest hitting your local hardware store to get some stainless bolts/washers. The ones they include are crappy.

If you're on a tight budget like me, this is a great deal!

Mr. Clean, I have a Steeda STB that came of my Cobra for sell. It's black powdercoated and in excellent condition and comes with the bolts. I now use the Cobra R STB to clear my TB and intake because of the 3/8" spacer. PM me with an offer if interested. FYI. I will be out of town on Weds 6/28.
