I am having a problem with fuel pressure in my 84 SVO. I have a 255lph in tank pump and eliminated the 2 pump setup. Yes I grounded the resistor wire. I had a BBK adjustable regulator in it and put a stock style in it to make sure it was not that and a new fuel pump too.

Here is my issue fuel pressure is like 38 at idle and starts to go up a little under boost, but seem to end up at like 42 as per my guage in the car. I can get it to come up to like 50 at like 1/2 to 3/4 throttle, but them when I give it full throttle it drops to 42 again. Any suggestions/ solutions would be great. Thanks, Donavan

Sounds like either your fuel filter is plugged, or your filter sock on the pump is plugged. It is also possible that your fuel pump needs more power. Sometimes the stock wire is inadequate for high volume fuel pumps.
