T5 from a 2.3T

I used many 4 cylinder t-5s in my 83... they are much weaker but they are ok if you're in a bind. People say change the pilot bearing to a certain one because the input shaft where it meets the pilot bearing is smaller, but I never did and never had a problem. I dunno about the clutch and flywheel.. that's cutting corner worse... I believe it is a 10 inch flywheel which is much weaker.
 
You can't and don't want to use the 2.3 flywheel and clutch on the 5.0. I'm not sure, but the bolt pattern on the crank might even be different. Just use your stock 5.0 flywheel, clutch, pressure plate and bellhousing.
