While installing new exhaust on my car i started with the tail pipes so i could go back to front to get the precise measurement of the distance i need to cut from the downpipes. The passenger side tail pipe went on fine after a little WD40, and the driver side went on the hanger closest to the front and once it was ready to be put into the rear hanger the pipe made contact with the gas tank. The tip of the back metal rod touches the front of the back hanger. suggestions on how to get it to fit?
