I am parting ways with the board. After many years, I just can't post here anymore with many of the post. A PM has been sent to all the mods to close the username.

I will be purchasing and working on my 4th 2v mustang soon. It's been a neat board, it was a fantastic board back in the day.

Build progress of it, when I buy one, will be posted on MPH, modularrevolution.com, and the Depot. The Z is in the shop right now, looking to go 10's with just a cam, headers, cold air, and Drag radials(415rwhp). The build for the 2v is up in the air right now.

Thanks again, hope to see some of you on the other boards and at the track!

    Mark

Dang man. Sorry to hear this. I remember when I first got on here, one of the first things said to me was: "Listen to Winters, he knows what he's talking about." And you have on everything you've ever told me.

Best of luck mang with the Z and/or any future Mustangs.

Good luck on the build man.

I have been out of the car scene for the past year or so and I'm not sure what happened, but I think ever since the latest site switch a lot of (the older) posters have left. I guess boards are cyclical, I used to post on Modular Depot all the time, but the same thing (for different reasons) happened over there.

I'll keep my eye out for your cars when I head to HRP (not back in Houston for another year though). :flag:

email sent to your pm, I go by different names on boards. Give me a shout when you can so I can store your email and keep it for when we head out to the track. Usually 1-3 cars, but the more, the better!:flag:

It happens to all boards, it's just frustrating signing on and seeing what has become of this board since I started posting here at 16 with my first car. I haven't signed on the Depot in a while, but I have heard what happened over there, and I won't comment on it.

I hate to see you (and other experienced Mustang guys) leave the site. I've valued your opinions. Good luck.

Winters, it's too bad to see you go because I value your input as you seem very knowledgable about the 2Vs. I can understand where you're coming from though - there has been a lot of bickering and immaturity lately, and it's certainly turning me off from posting here too. This site cannot afford to lose good resources, or eventually all we will be left with are a bunch of opinions and bad information. Good luck with your new cars man, maybe I'll see you over on one of the other sites...

Just an FYI I have tried many of the other sites and it all really comes down to good moderation. I think you will find the grass is not so green somewhere else.

You are going to have annoying people everywhere you go, good moderation is what makes posting on forums with other humans tolerable. But only just...

That's too bad, mark. I don't post on any of those boards anymore as I've cut back a lot lately for time and sanity reasons. I hope all goes well for you, man!

Sorry to see you go. But you shouldn't let the nOOb's get to you, they are on every forum.

As you know I've been through this, about 3 times now and I'd suggest leaving your username open just for the fact that you could have a reason to post in the future. I don't spend nearly as much time here or on a couple other boards I used to spend all my time on but everyone once in a while I'll still peek in and find a reason to post something up.

It's just like working on your car, when you get frustrated sometimes it's just better to take a break and walk away.

Whatever the forum, its a loss to all members when a knowledgable veteran leaves.:notnice: I have seen this happen on the vipertruck forum.

As a newbie to this forum I thank many of the posters in this thread that have welcomed me and shared their knowledge.:nice:

Good bye and good luck. Have fun with your current and future builds. You really don't have to close your account out. Take some time away like Epik suggest. Pearl02.

I"m there with you Winters.... The d-bag ratio has multiplied ten fold in the past 6-8 months.

The amount of incorrect tech info given then the ****y post about how they think they are right and that someone who post something correct is wrong.

I too have had enough with jack ass posting and think I'll stop with my technical input as well and let the magazine readers fap away when they think they gave info b/c they "read" it somewhere..... Good luck to you winters.
