First off, I love these threads; I like seeing new shiny car parts. So without further delay here is what I got from UPS today (I didnt intend on that rhyming... )-

    Kooks headers
    kooks O/R X pipe

    OH YEAH!

These things look AMAZING! The welding is far superior than any other brand I have ever seen. The gaskets that come with them, however, are an joke. The look like a piece of felt with a carbon center. Did I mention they come with the 02 extensions?

Another cool thing is they have a detachable tube. This allows you to install the harder to reach bolts (or nuts) first, and the install the tube.

I'm excited to rip this **** apart!

Yeah, they are dirty on the inside; you would think they would clean them out at the factory. All together they cost 1100 w/ the x pipe. We will find out shortly if they are worth it

Yeah, I had so many bad experiences with my BBK ceramic coated headers I decided to get the best I could buy. I have heard from everyone that owns them that they tuck up nice and tight and give more clearance than other brands.

It was a lot to pay, but I think it will be totally worth it in the end.

By the way, direct from the manufacturer they want something like 950 for the headers and 335 for the x pipe + shipping. I ordered mine from livernoismotorsports.com, they are great to deal with. I placed the order Wednesday, they told me they were out of stock on thursday (had to drop ship them from Kooks) and I received them Monday. Thats fast shipping, especially for something this size!

    UPDATE-

They are in fact T-304. Says so on the collector. Also, Kooks are guaranteed for life against rust and cracking, what other brands have that kind of warranty?
