I have a 2007 GT Its got stock tires 235/50/18 now i wanna go wider in the rear.. Anyone got any input. The car is at stock height, dont want it to look to gay with a thin side walled tire thinkin like a 255/ 45 or a 245/50. i plan on buying all 4 new tires so i dont wanna run two different heighted tires.

255/45/18 will work, that's what I'm going to go with. It's the front size of the GT-500 the overall diameter is very very very close.

I'm going to get 265/40/18 Mickey Thompson drag radials on my stock wheels in the near future.

You'll be very happy with those tires, I run a 275/40R17 and hook very well, just make sure you heat em up good.

I ran the 255/45-18 up front on an 8.5" wheel (same as factory) and really liked the look.

They are smaller than the stock 235/50-18!!!!! I have those MTs and run them with the stock tires up front. I was actually disappointed they weren't wider:nonono: The sidewall is exactly even with the wheel lip (no bulge like the stock tire) and they're about .5" shorter, which is VERY noticeable!

Damn and my car isn't lowered so it's bound to look like ****....thanks for the head up. Maybe I will just go with 15's in the rear with drag radials for the track.

The 31/12.5-15 will fit under a stock height Stang...

Good call, I'm all over that!I can get traction on ice with those bad boys. I feel like I'm going to need a large JEGS and AUTOMETER sticker to properly run those tires on my car tho.

I'd get a rear sway bar relocation kit and run the 29/11.50-15 in the winter:rlaugh:

As far as the stickers go...the rear window is plenty big for a few stickers:nice:
