I did a search, and couldn't find exactly what i need to know. I'm not really familier with tire sizes etc...

The tires that came on my 10 holes, are 205/65/r15's. I plan on using two of the better tires for the front, and buy some 235's or 245's for the back.

I noticed that on hard turns (fully cranked), the drivers side tire rubbed the LX ground effect a bit, but my car is also out of alignment quite a bit.

Will these tire sizes be alright for me or what?

10 Holes are 15x7. The tire size stock is suposed to be like said above 225/60R15 which is 25.7" tall tire. I'm not sure about the 65 series tire now but it shouldn't be any higher. As for the back, stuffing a really large tire such as a 275 series will just bulge out and make the back unstable but won't be much wider on the ground because the tire will be misshaped. I would do what you planned for the front and get some 235/60R15's drag radials for the back, and when it is time for the fronts to be replaced get some 215/60R15's. I think that combo would look and perform better.

90mustangGT: Pretty much exactly what i was thinking, just might not be able to afford drag radials quite yet.

I never planned on trying to use a 275 wide tire.. max 245 if i can get away with it, with good tire wear.

Thanks for the replies.

i personally would lose the 10 holes and get a set of used ponies and use a 235/50 or 245/50 all the way around. either that or a 225/55 front and a 245/50 rear. as for the rubbing with the 205's, your alignment might be slightly out. my 91 was only slightly out and it rubbed at full left lock. that was with 225/55/16's
