Deployment=$$$, I usually make a good amount of extra cash when I deploy... hostile fire, family sep.,hazardous duty, tax free...hopefully you Navy cats do as well....
I feel you pain bro, I've been gone for almost a year now, 5 months in the desert (Oct-Mid March), home for 6 days, then started Flight Engineer school, where I'm at now, done in Dec. Prolly back to the desert in Feb.

we pretty much get the same type of stuff. although you have to be a certain rate to be over in the desert with you guys... ie: CB, Corpsman, SEAL, SWCC, any special warfare or support for the Marines.
