Would it be possible to manually control the lockup function of the converter, by adding a toggle switch in the wiring from the pcm to the tcc solenoid in the tranny? pin#9 by the manual i am looking at.
I hate how the converter locks up in 3rd as soon as it shifts and drops off a lot of rpms.
EX, 1st, 2nd, gear burnout, then shifting to 3rd and the converter locks, all power (stall) gone and burnout stops.
Pros and cons of this?
