Ok,
i got bored and decided to checkout the TPS sensor that was mentioned in my last thread.. I followed my hanes manual about checking it, but i found something a little weird.. The hanes manual said.
With the car at idle, the voltage between the ground and sig. wire should be between .5 and 1.0 volts..
And as the gas pedal is pressed, it should increase to about 4.0-5.0 volts when at WOT.

Well.. here's the deal.

My car when at ideal has. 4.2 volts between the ground and signal wires.
and at WOT has between .5 and 1.0 volts. I can't remember from my Ford tech days if this is right or not (learned too much crap sense then), or if hanes just got them backwards.

What do all you guys say?
