Tracking her down

My dad was the origional owner of a 88 mustang Hatchback up untill around 1999 or 2000. Can't really remember. Now that i'm 18 i would love to track that car down and buy it. Anyway it can be done? any help would be greatly appreciated.

right, a carfax would be a good start. then i think you can go the dmv once you know what city? im not sure though.

sounds good to me. I've heard if you contact the DMV and give them a letter they will forward it to the the owner. But they won't give out any information.
