She's gone. Was trying to get $9K for it and couldn't even do that.

So i traded it in for a 2006 Infiniti G35x w/ 26K miles...fully loaded with every available option + Navigation.

I'm happy, and can't wait to pick up the new ride.

I'm gonna miss my GT...but it was time for a mature ride.

Nice! Its nice having a nice luxury pimp daily driver and the fast weekend toy.

Did you take out a loan on the rest of the amount?

No i put a decent amount of cash down too.

Seems like with the financial crap going down, they want to see some sore of cash DP in addition to a trade-in.

My credit is perfect...but i put some $$ down too.

I'm outside at 10PM stripping off the shifter and a few other stuff to sell to friends

Cobra brakes came off a few weeks ago, Just got done taking the MGW shifter and Mach 1 chin spoiler off.

Only mods they are getting is the cat-back. They are basically getting a stock GT

That's a nice car....light color interior though...put some big floor mats in there. In MI, that carpet and floor mats would get trashed. I like the car a lot...the NAV screen is sweet.

I just bought an MGW shifter for the Cobra it's sweet. Ebay all that stuff. Friends want deals...Ebay people will fight for aftermarket Mustang parts. Think $$$. lol

Congrats on the G35, MUCH nicer than an 03 GT for driving around... and I know you've been itching for one for a while.

One thing though I thought you were set on a stick shift G35? I see this ones an auto, any reason? Good deal, don't want to shift, etc?

I looked into G35 sedans for a while, and wanted a 6-speed one bad, but they cost too much back when I grabbed my Audi. Very nice cars though!

    Simple reason.

    6-spds are RWD only

    AWD is automatic only

I wanted an AWD model for the winter..so i got stuck with automatic. I'm not complaining though since my commute is nothing but stop and go traffic

Actually it's my preferred interior color, exterior color and al the options i wanted. If i were to buy this car new...it would come exactly like this. No changes at all. I scored what i wanted.

I'll get some large clear mats for the winter to protect against snow/salt/etc.

I sold my Mach 1 chin for $50 already

I'll toss the MGW on the bay shortly.

I'm keeping my 5-spd Cobra style knob for my 5.0

I also have an Ipod adapter to put on the bay too...was $175 new

Dood I sold my 01 GT earlier this year and got an 02 Grand Prix SE and I have never looked back. Call me grandpa but I like the comfort and gas mileage :)

I'm def not looking back. This is an upgrade in every way.

280HP is pretty fast too. Some guys are running mid to low 14's with these with minor mods.

Really, I did not know that! Interesting. If thats the case I don't blame you then. I went with AWD as well and it helps out a good amount mainly in our driveway (you remember, imagine that with 6" of snow :D) and around the crappy unplowed roads.

Either way they are nice cars!
